Choosing a norm region for the Group Report

For the EQ-i 2.0, over 19,000 people around the world were asked to complete the assessment. Their responses were amassed into Norm groups: Representative groups of people against which your group participants are compared.

You have eight choices for the region you want to compare your group participants against:

If your participants are based in a country outside of US/Canada, UK/Ireland, Australia, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, or South Africa, we recommend that you select the Global Norm, although you can also select one of the other regions to compare your participants against.

Whichever region you choose, it is important to always take into account gender, age, cultural, environmental, and career factors when interpreting the results obtained from the Group Report.

Group Reports can be created using assessments that were previously scored with different norm regions and norm types in the EQ-I 2.0 portal. This is because the Group Report uses the raw data from the participants’ assessments, instead of how the data was scored in the Workplace or Leadership report.
